I lived in this apartment town in South Korea when I was a little girl. My family moved to another city shortly after my childhood, This is the place that I always missed and also remember the days as the best time of my life with my parents. It was here that I learned how to ride a bicycle, climbed my dad’s car and broke my front tooth. I waited for my dad to come home from the top of a big rock during the evenings. I remember fighting with my older sister and us girls giggling. I revisited this place in 2017 and had a chance to say good-bye to this apartment town before it was demolished. Thank you for the all warm memories.
즐거웠고 또 행복했던 내 어린 시절 그리고 그때 살았던 경기도 과천 6단지 아파트. 2017년 한국에 방문을 하였을때 재개발 준비로 사람들은 이미 떠난 후였고 철거작업이 시작이 된듯 보였다. 어떻게 해서 내가 이 안에 들어갈수 있었는지, 왜 타인의 출입을 막는 이가 아무도 없었는지에 감사한다. 사진을 찍으면서 뷰 파인더로 풍경을 볼수가 없을정도로 눈물이 시야를 가렸던 기억... 어린시절 아빠의 퇴근을 기다렸던 커다란 돌 위에 앉아 내 나름대로 그곳과의 마지막 인사를 할수 있었다. 나의 유년기여 안녕~! 나는 벌써 40이 되었단다.
